The session for “Exit Wounds,” took place in a Soho studio on an uncharacteristically warm early spring afternoon, and featured Sosa laying vocals to a bare-bones, yet soulful, synth-based track. Thus far, the songstress has released a variety of soulful tidbits, ranging from features on Manhattan tracks, to song-writing and solo cuts. Fans wondering why Sosa hasn’t dropped a solo project yet should blame the wait on an obsession with perfection and an insatiable desire to fine-tune her creative voice. You can bet that “Exit Wounds” is just the beginning, and be on the look out for Sosa’s debut effort, “See Sos Run,” coming sooner than you think.
